Healing takes time. If the wound cuts deep it would take longer to heal. However, we cannot weigh the intensity of a mental wound like a physical one. regardless of the intensity, the trauma can take forever to heal. Sometimes, it will not heal forever, you will be left behind with scars of memories for a lifetime. However, what matters is you are in the process of healing even if it takes forever.
